I logged onto it finally over the weekend and wound up feeling very dizzy just by the few people I’ve sent invites to. Is it a chat client? Is it e-mail? Is it facebook marries gmail? I’m so confused! Do I want it? Will I use it?
I don’t even use messenger or FB chat because it’s too much live interacting that I can’t commit to!
Well what IS Wave? I have NO idea. You can do what I’ve yet to do and Google it. I saw nothing ‘new’ or ‘wow’ when I read articles mentioning Wave, but since it was ‘exclusive’ I HAD to have it.
I suppose it’s good for collaborating with others within a company or if you run a website with multiple editors/key people- but for someone like me… it’s a big ol’ shrug and you’re not missing anything if you aren’t on board with it.
I can see the uses if you do have a bunch of other people in your life (for whatever reason) to do brain storming, creative meetings of the mind or just blowing off steam/goofing off with one another. I’m currently doing the latter, but I do that on Twitter and FB as well. I don’t NEED more goof-off platforms.
I will continue to use it with the people I have, but there’s no real need for it.
If you have Wave, please let me know your experience and if you feel it’s worth the hype.
