This article, like all your others, is very well written and the topic is so great. Geoff seems like a totally rad, sweet, sincere and funny guy and the perfect match for your gorgeous, smart, geeky and funny self. Your posts make me go “awwww” a lot. I sometimes laugh, sometimes get a little teary, and I always enjoy what you write. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
P.S. I also love Mother Pucker and missed it when Target stopped carrying it. I noticed in an e-mail from Sephora the other day that they have a new color. Can’t wait to try it!

“Christian Mingle”. The first time I saw this on TV I almost spit up my drink. First of all, I respect everyone’s religion. However a “Christian” dating site is coming awful close to shading Germany in the 1940′s. Back then, what also did you have to be either Christian or Catholic to be a member of????? This does not promote open-mindedness in the religious community. I can’t imagine the HELL their children will have to go through being raised by two religious fanatics. How badly they will impose their “Christian values” on their kids, instead of allowing them to think for themselves. Can’t these people meet in church? I mean, they basically live there. Isn’t that where Christians mingle….IN CHURCH? Now they have to take their “all important” mission to cyberspace to meet up with fellow zealots and conspire the breed offspring?. Controlled by god, waiting for him to “make the next move”. Like you are some kind of pawn on a chess board. Pathetic. You’re so important that out of the trillions of people on this earth, he chooses YOU to be his personal puppet.

I do have real happiness in my life; I appreciate the well wishes. And I’m not quite sure why you assumed otherwise.

I should have approached it from a different stand point; but the shell shock and frustration of moving to the bible belt from the West Coast had taken me to my breaking point when hearing that commercial dozens of times per day on any given channel.

I’m not sure what your uncertainty in anything has to do with the importance of your opinion on the rant. Thank you for your input?
