I found this on Youtube: One of my favorite songs with one of my favorite films. Perfection.

Fans are worried that the feature film adaptation of the beloved trailer won’t live up to the original 90-second story’s vision.
I admit I’m slow on the take when it comes to new shows. I’ve been wounded in the past so I’m not eager to jump on a bandwagon, especially one that has so many people on board (example: Lost).
There have been some gems where I was slow on the take, but once I entered the realm, I was hooked: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Six Feet Under, and Dexter.
A new(er) show has caught my attention this past weekend: Hereos. I watched one piece of it when it first aired, was distracted during the episode and never returned… until now.
It actually sort of rocks so far (I’m only half way through with season one). Will it continue to intrigue me and cause me to watch week after week (once I get caught up) or will it be another Lost or Smallville and make me feel like I wasted my sloth time?
I guess only time will tell.
No review will be given until I see what they bring to the next seasons. A good series has a tepid first season and it just gets better after that.

Once more I’ve had the laziest weekend to add to my lazy weekend collection. A Star Wars Trilogy marathon had me vegging in front the tv and the video store people now knowing my true geekiness. I don’t care though… you… nerf herders!
It’s ending with me watching the new My Name is Earl on Hulu because on my sloth Thursday evening, I was actually busy doing productive things and forgot television shows were on. It was actually a decent episode… I gasped a few times and had to cover my eyes. Considering I didn’t cover them up because it was a crappy view, it’s a good thing.
So- a discovery of finding out my name is on Mars, organizing my closets, rolling my eyes at the Charles Manson album, making a wheelchair and doing three loads of laundry (I guess I was slightly productive this weekend), I’m calling it good.
Now I must bathe the boy, finish the last of the laundry and tighten up some bolts.
Enjoy the show.

No photo-blog today. My battery is charged, only it’s still in the charger and not in my camera. I wished I took the camera with me earlier today on my way to Walgreens… awesome images. There was a blinding sun break as I was driving down the road. Cherry blossoms were looking beautiful and then snow began to fall as the sun was still shining and the cherry blossoms swaying in the breeze and then I drove one second further and it was raining and a second even further than that and there was nothing but grey- but in my rear view mirror you could see it all.
My week was one that had me on edge. My yearly review for job tasks that have had me in a fetal position and the physical strain of carrying Jonathon down up stairs along with his equipment… today my body finally collapsed. I have a pinched nerve in my back and it hurts to breathe. On the *good* side, Friday when I went to sit at my desk, my chair didn’t fit under my desk like I’m accustomed to. Apparently the work out caused me to lose more weight
Not enough to where I noticed (it’s hard to tell when I lose or gain- except when my chair doesn’t go down that slight quarter of an inch to make the armrests have clearance.).
I had also purchased a pedi egg (I’ll check the name tomorrow) for Jonathon, which I will write about tomorrow
grrr.
Until then, this new show has caught my attention and sadly I think the female in the show, they’ve made her dating life mimic mine. It’s as if they’ve listened to my tales and wrote it in the show… I think her selections will be the series long running joke.
Okay loves. It’s 12:42 and I’m off to bed. Enjoy.
There’s something a lot of people don’t know about me. Okay, there are a lotta something’s that people don’t know about me. One of them is my love of dance- and I’m not talking about ballet or Lord of the Dance etc, I’m talking about DANCE baby. Street, hip hop studio choreographed pop lock funky crazy stuff. In my younger years I was constantly dancing. Alone and with friends I was dancing to the radio, stereo, MTV, the music in my head. I was choreographing, coming up with new moves and having dance off with friends in the streets or back yard. I drew my inspirations from Michael Jackson, Fame, Flashdance, Breakin’, and even John Travolta in Staying Alive and Saturday Night Fever (don’t judge).
I couldn’t sing well and I didn’t mind. Acting was for puppets (although I did do well with that as well as art and writing). I was lost around musical instruments, but my body was something I had complete control over and absolutely free falling when the right music played. It’s something you can do alone and something that can bond you to others (hmm- I won’t compare it to what popped in my mind when I wrote that). I loved the freedom and expression I felt from dance- Sooooooooooo needless to say when I was flipping through the channels several weeks ago and came across Randy Jackson’s Dance Crew, I was captured. Two crews grabbed my attention- JabbaWockeeZ and Kaba Modern. Both made it into the final three and sadly Kaba didn’t make it to the final two. Tomorrow night I can see if my second choice is going to rock the dance world. YEE. Here’s the latest clip (when you click on it you’re sent to the MTV video):
I’m still in a mood. I think I will be until my yearly review is over with (this week). Will I feel humiliated? I know I’ll feel humbled. Will I be let go? Will I run for the door? My nerves have been shot for quite some time and it really is having an impact on all other areas of my life. Do I continue to kick puppies until I can breathe again? Will I continue to kick puppies when I’m breathing again? Has anyone else kicked puppies? Puppy kicking is kind of fun, you should try it. Send me flowers and hugs and diamonds along with marriage proposals to see if it will snap me out of my mood or make me really kick puppies.

Unsure what to watch this season? Well me too. So far I’ve seen nothing of quality, especially since the writer’s strike ended. Am I bitter? Can nothing they do gain my approval?
Here’s one thing that has caught my attention, although it hasn’t captured my dollar. You go Diet Dew!
