I’m sitting here on a refurbished laptop with my clothes hanging in the other room, drying from being hand washed in the sink that I’ve been doing for almost a year now because I’m unable to justify getting replacement machines even if used. A nearly empty bag of pretzels are on the floor next to me and water in a $2.00 plastic cup is sitting on my coffee table that is made out of a slab of glass I picked up at a going out of business store over a decade ago, a treated glass cutting board and wooden base. My “never been to a salon” hair is air drying and I am quite content with my modest life style. I’m a cheapskate. I’m good with that.
I don’t think of myself as being labeled “Middle-Class” or that I should even bat an eye about it until I visit a site like http://billionairexchange.com/ where the wealthiest of the wealthiest are auctioning off their things to the wealthiest of the wealthiest and all I can do is gasp and see that ONE small trinket is going for more that what I will make in my entire career. However, when I went there my eyes were batting all over the place and I think I actually drooled. I’m not sure if I drooled at the items or what they were selling them for.
“Auction and Trade Luxury Items” These people actually exist outside of MTV?You can’t even see how much membership is without possibly paying 50K inquiry fees.
So for a nice stroll to through the lives of the struggling lives of those who paid a bazillions bucks for a one inch piece of metal- Ooooh, ahhhhhhhh and flip these people off out of sheer jealousy along with me.
