Why be in this mundane world when the surreal world in my head is so much more inviting, exciting, and not as complex?

Is my mind really that weak??

I woke up about five this morning in a pool of sweat and it’s only 70 degrees… 91% humidity. Just the mere thought of the triple digits has me in dread mode. There could be a chance the weather people are wrong. I mean what if they are? What if they aren’t? It’s not like I’m out running a marathon or like I live in the high desert.

I’m debating on whether or not I should stroll with Jonathon to the other side of the freeway and go to the park by my old apartment complex. I drove to it yesterday so I could have a look at the new splash fountain they put in. TONS of shady trees and water = good. Knowing that only a few weeks ago 3 people were gunned down on a park bench because someone mistook them for gang members = not good. It did feel odd seeing the buildings… they hadn’t painted them since I moved out years ago, run down and a nice reminder of where I came from here. I carried Jonathon and his chair and up down those stairs daily + groceries- no garbage disposal/dishwasher etc. I sound so spoiled now! Maybe I’ll pass…

I’m melting already and today is supposed to be the coolest of the next 3-4 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s funny… if it were winter time I’d probably be griping about how cold this exact indoor temperature is right now.

If you’re not speaking metaphorically and you’re really waking up in a sweat when it’s not yet hot, it may not be panic. There are a number of health conditions which can cause it, such as low blood sugar. I’m sure you know that, but it’s apparently my curse to speak the obvious.
