Why be in this mundane world when the surreal world in my head is so much more inviting, exciting, and not as complex?

I’ve got internet again and I’ve learned something about my phone!

I can’t interact with my site or anything via my phone! I don’t have the patience to find out why and I really don’t care to research it… but I’ve learned I’m unable to log in to my site or add comments.

If my computer ever breaks… I know not to rely on my phone for internet use! WHY was I learning this lesson? Well… it all started out with wanting to move my computer. I had to unplug everything, which is not a big deal… except when you see the cable slip through the wall.

I had disassembled all my flashlights trying to find a bulb for a prehistoric home planetarium that I needed a replacement for (fyi- no flashlight light bulbs work) and finally when I was able to get once pieced back together… I noticed that inside of the wall is pretty open and large :-(

I was a little scared of electrocuting myself in attempts to get the cable wire (since the regular outlet is right next to it) and not one who even thinks of shutting off the power except in hindsight, I went through my closets and searched for a wire hanger. I noticed the hangers of now are not like the hangers of yore. The yore hangers didn’t have such a thick coating on it… and they weren’t welded into place. You could easily take it a part and do what ever it was that you needed to do with them. The hangers of now… I had to find a wire cutter and squeeze away at the sucker until I was able to break it.

FINALLY after fishing in the wall (I was going to wait patiently for the landlord who opens office on Monday… but after awhile I just couldn’t take it any more!) I was able to pull the sucker out and screw a large piece on the cable after I threaded it through the hole- hoping to prevent its disappearance again.

SO- for anyone who loses a cable wire through your wall- make sure you have wire hangers in your closet, a wire cutter and a working flashlight. Those things are needed for just about any situation- but none as dire as losing your internet connection!

Okay… I’m going to chillax now that I’m over the frustration of my phone not being a decent source of communication, other than the phone part of it. I WAS SO ISOLATED!
