…to those who have earned it.
Here’s a brief update… when I’m not stressing out (and I’ve learned I’m a stress eater and when I smoked, I was a stress smoker- I was so tempted to buy a pack of smokes to avoid the stress eating, but refrained and picked up a video tape of Tae bo at Goodwill instead (only 1.99!). People who claim to watch special needs should specify- not with wheelchairs or add ‘home not wheelchair accessible).
I’ve hit a few road blocks and Friday night had me in a spiral of depression complete with a falling out with my daughter. At this point I’m too exhausted to care. I should be bothered by that, but I have too much going on to really care about how my tone comes across over the phone when I’m stressed, my hands are covered in food, I have laundry hanging from all surfaces and I’m being told I’m to watch Isla any moment instead of Saturday night or Sunday night… or who knows which night they changed to. She can have her victory and think I’m a loon- she’s at that age where she can bully and then laugh at your reaction. I don’t need it and I shouldn’t be writing about it… but ugh. I felt attacked.
Enough about that…
My downtime has been wrapped up in watching pieces of the Ninja Warrior marathon. Awesome! ^_^
Someone out there also knocked on my door and left a bag of bread 
scared to eat it because… I’ve no idea where it came from, but I suspect my upstairs neighbor has bought two fer one in the past and out of kindness has brought down the extra.
Next week will be brighter and better. On a plus side, my friend and girl I work with might be moving into the complex… which might be nice when it feels sooo isolating and a friendly face is needed.
Okay- enough whining for now. I’ll try to write more happy/uplifting later.
I can tell that you’re really stressed right now, so I hope that a naive attempt at out-of-the-box thinking won’t be too irritating.
I know that the summer school was ruled out because J’s evaluations says he doesn’t need it and therefore the funding for it isn’t available. But ignore that for a second. My question is whether there is a school program into which he could be entered if the cost problem could be addressed? And if so, and what would be the cost?
