Last weekend I only wanted the weekend to end. It was a long and grueling 2 weeks of passing the sick baton between Jonathon and myself- home ridden and missing work… missing the people… missing the ambiance of “not here”. This weekend went by like a flash and I just want a mini-extension.
I didn’t take Jonathon to Wolverine. I didn’t get a new mic… I *did* however discover Ninja Gaiden Black which is incredible, and even more so when you realize it’s the adventure of Ryu from DOA (if you’re a DOA fan). It’s been a long time since I played decent games on my aging consoles and I have to go back a few years to find some great ones for Xbox or PS2 because what they toss us now are incredibly horrific that it’s depressing. These machines are (and God of War, Ninja Gaiden etc are proof) are capable of great graphics, game play and lengthy stories. I was shocked when this game loaded in seconds- whereas the ‘new’ games for the PS2 etc. takes forever to load, move through scenes etc.
Well, Jonathon decided that he preferred it being a Ninja weekend and kept putting off the movie until after work/school this week.
Today I spent it with Ash, Isla and Jonathon- I took them out to lunch and then we spent a few hours walking around downtown by the water. It was nice ^_^
I even got a new book! It’s called “THIS BOOK WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE” I haven’t explored it yet, but it’s a 365 daily instructions for hysterical living. This should be fun
Okay- I’m off now… I’ll probably play with accents and audio blog later , more than likely when I take my melatonin- it makes me sleepy and loopy!
It was a beautiful day and it does suck to have it end so quickly. That’s what video games do to you. The virtual time that feel like seconds are really hours here in the real world ]:
