Depending on Jonathon’s surgery and recovery, I’m hoping to attend the ‘10 NYC CC w/him and perhaps rent some equipment so we can do some impressive interviewing this time. My NYC cherry has been popped, so this time I can get down to business- and in addition, either promote Fam Z by then… or learn more tips and tricks of the trade for the best GN in the history of the drawn word!

What kind of surgery? When?
Hip joint replacement and shortly to follow- his arm (unsure what all might be done with that, but we’re going to try a few more things to put that one off). The hip needs to be done soon- but I’m not sure how soon yet. It’ll take coordinating and a lot of planning because I don’t have enough PTO and his after care is going to be really involved, then after a fair amt of time in the cast- we’ll have to stay up at Shriner’s for Rehab before he can leave, which is about a week after getting the cast off.
He’s had it done a few times on his left hip (trial and errors) hopefully they’ll learn from that one so he doesn’t have to go through it again and again. Just once is enough.
