Wow, I didn’t realize Dell made cars.

5 times. Five ten minute intervals. Two this morning en route to work. Three times en route home. Twenty minutes this morning while I sat there staring at the red LED display blinking on and off “Theft System” over and over and over again.

“If I close my eyes, when I open them back up, the words will stop blinking and I can attempt to start the car.”
“You will start… NOW”
“Maybe if I polish the key it’ll work…”
“I promise if you start then I will never take pictures of drivers who piss me off again.. ever… unless they deserve it.”
“You God d&*&*@@(*$@*(EU) (*@)(!(*@(*&^YR(*@)#*()@*($)@*()*()$^$$@$^%!$^%@$!^%%&^*&~^(*!&(*!&*(#&*(@&(*@&(@&*(#&@*!_)(*!(_(!&!&&(*!&^#@T^&@EY&*REY(*&#@$&B(*PC&$P(&* piece of ()@(I*(@!*#!!#@!@…”
“Why the f*@ did I ever insist on someone else to pick out my car??!”

5 times in one day. Thankfully it was an early autumns day with tepid temperatures and no crucial appointments to keep. Thankfully I had a cell phone to text out my frustrations while I waited and surfed the net while I realized that ten minutes is a hell of a long time, especially when it comes in three’s.

My blood boiled. My eyes were mere slits and I swear I could have ripped the steering wheel off in a split second if I didn’t think it would only make matters worse.

I thought that the makers of the damned stupid car should put in an emergency cigarette for when these things happen. “Anti Theft…” Yeah, brilliant. It even prevents the owner of the car from driving it! Damned stupid vehicle from HADES. Can you disable it? You can, but the car is so faulty that should the battery fail and you need to replace it, your car may never turn on again… ever.

In my entire career of driving and riding in cars, I have to say that the Camry remains on top. I had one issue with the Cam (other than everyone wanting to break in and steal it and everything inside… which happened… they didn’t steal *it* but… ugh, I don’t want to relive the horror.) I had to replace the timing belt around 130,000 miles but other than that… it was perfection. I didn’t realize how much I took it for granted. I didn’t realize that honking your horn or having your turn signals work was a luxury. Who knew that being able to turn over the engine was a huge deal?

Malibu. Oddly it’s not shocking. Any vehicle named after a SoCal place I shoulda known it’d look good on the outside and wind up being nothing but faulty crap inside. I’m trying to get the papers in order so I can take the damn thing and hopefully trade it in, even it means leasing again.

If I ever see the guy who hit me and caused this huge bane of my daily grind… I’ll force him to drive the damned thing because it’s the worst punishment I can think of.

Ohhhh and here’s something else that causes me to realize how much I suck- I can’t even figure out how to change the damned head light bulb. I have it in the car, so I guess if I get pulled over I’ll throw it at the cop and see if he could assist me. Maybe it’ll be the same cop who pulled me over the other week because my damned turn signals stopped working- so I used the arm gestures and the damned stupid cop had to pull me over to tell me that most people don’t know what those gestures mean. I get pulled over because main stream is stupid. I did what I was supposed to do (I even did a survey amongst my peers and consulted with a friend who is a cop up North)- and I get pulled over and lectured due to Idiocracy.

In ten years I’ll get pulled over for using my working turn signals “M’am.. no one knows what those blinky lights are for, please stop confusing the citizens of Salem, those changing lights at the intersections pose enough of a challenge as it is.”

Okay… thanks for letting me vent. I feel better now. :D

Headlight is fixed. :)
