Autumn Viewing Opinions

It’s the beginning of the year and although my television exposure remains limited, I’ve come up with my list of must see and “meh” tv shows.

The Office: Amusing and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it, however, it’s not really the type of show that I can’t miss. It’s good to watch should I find myself needing a distraction.

Scrubs: I got into this show at the beginning of the year and after over exposure, I slowly began to lose interest. The season premiere offered nothing new and nothing that cause this to remain “Must See TV”.

Smallville: Another show I showed an interest in at the beginning of the year (it was a LONG stay in the hospital!). Since the season began, I don’t think I was able to sit through one full episode. Once more the magic has disappeared.

Ugly Betty: Interesting, although I can flip to it during commercials from other shows and feel like I haven’t missed anything.

Reaper: My attention has been captured and it gives me the sensation of Joss Whedon and Kevin Smith- if they had a baby, this would be it.

Chuck: I didn’t like it… then I liked it… now I’m at “take it or leave it… but I’ll see”

How I Met Your Mother: Still going strong and it’s a show I can’t miss. So please people, if you’re going to have an emergency or you need to talk… please do it a few hours prior to the show or shortly after.

Carpool: A gem I happened across, much like I did with Arrested Development. Although Arrested Development had lost my interest at some point (I kind of just forgot about it), I hope this doesn’t wind up doing the same.

Cavemen: They should have stuck with the cute yet getting old commercials.

Big Bang Theory: I liked it, then I didn’t like it… then I liked it a little… now it’s one of those “Hmmm… if there’s nothing else to do.”

Thirty Rock: It’s grown on me :)

Okay, that’s my non-descript line up of what I’m watching. I hope it proved educational and useful. (yawn)
