This is so exciting 
Ben and I have been discussing this event for the past week and each time I get more and more stoked but not NEARLY as excited as Jonathon was when I told him he gets to be my escort.
His eyes lit up and once more, “I DON’T BELIEVE THIS!!!!!!!” He never knew that creators and characters come together once a year to discuss past, present and future events in the comic book industry.
New York City. I’ve been trying to get to NY for ages and life events kept coming up. Now that everything is green lighted (a successful surgery after complications for the boy), etc. The timing couldn’t be better.
NYC!!! I’m hoping my aunt and uncle still live there as I want to see them as well- my whole point in wanting to go in the first place lol. Ugh, I need to write them!
Also it’s been a little cool receiving video games for review as that’s something I enjoy and Jonathon enjoys right along with me It’s not often you can do “work” in your livingroom without causing grief on your child.
AND the Hoodie I posted about on Arsgeek, Scottevest is sending me one to review Mega awesome! I need to run and get more toys to plug into it! I will be UBER Ghic Chic!
So now it’s a matter of figuring out how to fund our way to NYC next year, a place to stay downtown and get enough time to see family whilst there… IF they don’t move away 
Ben and I are going to track our progresses and planning on the forum as I want to treat it like Detroit Rock City. A font documentary so to speak, plus get ideas from the readers as to where to stay etc. We had been looking into Hostels as a few are pretty nice right in the heart of everything… for only 30 bucks a night per person. Unfortunately it looks like they’re dorm style- which means he’ll have to be away from his wife and there’s NO WAY I can be separated from my son. The hostel option might be out.
We feel as thrilled as Jonathon. I keep screaming YEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! Which is a more pumped up version of YAY!!!!!!!!!

Remember to bring my black gown so I can take one pic in front of Tiffany and Co.!
